A big thanks to our lovely JCFO staffer Ana (Banana) for translating the articles and posting them on the forum. Link at the bottom.

ARITCLE A more detailed article regarding JC's two injuries (rib and wrist). As reported before, JC injured his wrist Friday while trying to brace himself from a fall. But in addition to injuring his wrist he also nailed his elbow into his ribs in the process. This injury prevents him from breathing normally and now he's taking antiinflammatories to treat the pain.

Antonio Martinez Cascales: "We are not optimistic but we are sure that we will go to Roland Garros although I do not know what form he will be in."

FACING A FINE The ATP wanted JC to travel to Hamburg so that the tournament doctors could confirm his injury. JC then proposed to pay for two ATP doctors to come to Villena. There was no precedent for this sort of proposal so it was rejected and since JC did not make it to Hamburg he was fined.

Oh dear, this doesn't sound good at all. Glad to hear JC will try to make it to RG but it doesn't seem like he'll be 100% for it. Rest up JC and get well soon. ^^
