Not tennis related- JC is an uncle! Monday his elder sister Ana gave birth to a baby girl, Marta. Congratulations!
Trainer Antonio Martinez Cascales: "Today he (JC) has had the first joy of the year because his sister Ana has been mother of a girl."
Back to tennis- JC's plans for returning to RG are in doubt. Seems like his wrist isn't the only injury. JC's also suffering from soreness in the ribs. More tests will be run at the end of the week to determine if he can start training. It's really a race against the clock since they say that JC will need a minimum of five days to train to be ready but they're not sure if his wrist will be healed in time.
