NEWS JC has been extended an invitation to participate in the Open Seat Godó which commences April 27. He has yet to accept but other player expected to compete in Barcelona are Guillermo Coria, Carlos Moyá, David Nabaldián, Nicholas Massú, Tommy Robredo, Feliciano Lopez, Agustín Calleri, Albert Coast, Fernando González, Marat Safin, Dominik Hrbaty, Juan Ignacio Chela, Gastón Gaudio, Rafael Nadal and Felix Mantilla.
