ARTICLE - All Eight Seeds Advance to Quarterfinals, led by Ferrero

Top seeded Juan Carlos Ferrero advanced to his second ATP quarterfinal of the season on Wednesday as he defeated Lukas Dlouhy of the Czech Republic 6-3, 7-6(2).

Ferrero improved his career record to 3-0 against Dlouhy by converting three of six break points while he saved nine of 11 break points. The 27-year-old Spaniard will take on fifth-seeded Gaston Gaudio for the 12th time (Ferrero leads 6-5) in his career in the quarterfinals on Thursday in a battle of former Roland Garros champions. Gaudio rallied to defeat qualifer Juan-Pablo Guzman 1-6, 6-3, 6-2.
