Ferrero went to Madrid on Thursday and was presented with the prestigious award by King Juan Carlos. Other award-winners were Formula 1 racing driver Fernando Alonso who claimed the 'Rookie of the Year' award while Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo received the 'Iberian-American Sportsman of the Year' award. The awards are held on an annual basis.
