EXHIBITION MATCH Ferrero faces Verkerk and Nadal faces Santoro in Santa Ponsa
The Spanish tennis players Juan Carlos Ferrero and Rafael Nadal will face the Dutchman Martin Verkerk and the Frenchman Fabrice Santoro, respectively, in two of the exhibition matches of the Trofeo Islas Baleares that will be held next Saturday in the beach of the Majorcan locality of Santa Ponsa.
According to a spokesman of the organization other players confirmed are Greg Rusedski (Great Britain), Rainer Schuettler (Germany) and Carlos Moyá (Spain) and other players of the Balearic.
Tomorrow, the tennis players will be able to make the first training in the clay courts specially installed on the beach of Santa Ponsa.
The exhibition, with a budget of 300,000 euros, will be to the best one of three "sudden deaths" (tie breaks).
The unique price to attend the matches, that will held Saturday July 3rd is 20 euros.
